3 things I found out:
1. Singapore had a 2 child policy which was implemented in 1972 and removed in 1987. Singapore then encouraged parents to have 3 or more children if they could afford it.
2. China's one child policy started out in 1979 due to the rapid increase in population and birth rate and was removed in 2015.
3. .With China allowing the people with only 1 child, the children were unable to work well with other people when they were older.
2 perception I have gained:
1. Because of China's one child policy , there will be gender discrimination with parents favoring over boys compared to girls as they would want their son to carry on their bloodline.
2. Through education, people preferred to have fewer children or none after the 2 child policy was imposed.
1 question I have:
1. With families having lesser children, would they spend more money and attention on them?
